Alicia is a Senior Art Director with 10+ years experience working in creative advertising and design. She has a unique attention to detail and a passion for all forms of visual communication. Beyond her extensive background in film, illustration and design she has developed a skill set in strategic thinking with powerful human insights.
Her value and expertise has extended beyond the day-to-day work of an Art Director. She has pitched ideas for the super bowl, she has an eye for casting and film direction. She loves being part of the ideation and writing process. She is an encyclopedia for talent when it comes finding the best illustrators, designers, film directors and animation studios. She is also a mentor and leadership figure for new creative talent.
Alicia is currently serving as Freelance Senior Art Director, where she collaborates with Canada’s top creatives on a wide spectrum of brands. Throughout her career, she has gained experience in automotive, packaged goods, financial services, food & drink, fashion and telecommunications. Alicia has worked with global brands such as Volkswagen group, Procter & Gamble, Anheuser-Busch InBev and Campari Group. She has also worked with a range of North American brands such as Metrolinx (public transportation), The Toronto Star (National Newspaper), Hudson’s Bay Company (Department Store), TD Bank and Bell Canada (teleco).
In the last decade, Alicia’s dedication to her craft and her pursuit of big ideas has garnered her recognition from publications like Applied Arts, Strategy Magazine and Communication Arts. She was also awarded by The Advertising and Design Club of Canada, The Marketing Awards and the National Advertising Challenge in 2020.
